Laurelhurst Named Outstanding Water Performer

The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has renewed Laurelhurst Public Utility District's designation as an Outstanding Water Performer for the year of 2022.

This designation is based on an on-site review of:

• Water sources
• Treatment
• Storage facilities
• Distribution systems
• Maintenance procedures

This designation was given after we completed a water system survey to evaluate our utility's capability of providing safe water to our customers.
