These scholarships send deserving young men and women to various summer athletic camps in our area. The programs take place between June and August of each year and focus on either a particular sport like Basketball or Soccer, or feature a full curriculum of team sport play. Camp graduates learn new skills that will enable them to excel on and off the court or field. Winners also meet other talented players and even get to pose with the coach for a picture to take home and show to friends and family.
This scholarship program is an expression of Laurelhurst Public Utility District's historic commitment to the community on behalf of our customers.
